Letter from the Chairman
Dear Alumni and Friends of Roman and Hallahan,
We are counting down the days to our 32nd Annual Day at the Bay and the Committee is hard at work preparing for the much-anticipated event. Please join us on August 9, 2025 at Seaport Pier as we venture to PACK-THE-PIER with 2,000 of our closest friends together at the Jersey Shore.
From raffle baskets and cornhole tournaments to live bands and guest appearances, this year’s event is on track to be the best one yet! Don’t miss out and help us reach a record-setting year.
Since our beginnings in 1993, this summer reunion has served as more than just a gathering of fellow alumni; it’s had the mission of putting the students of Roman and Hallahan first. As you make your way to Seaport Pier on August 9th, remember that this event is truly the “Party with a Purpose!”
As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on the support of our community and partnership with local businesses. Our Committee and Alumni Association are driven by the time, talent, and treasure of many alumni and friends. In my ten years as DATB Chairman, I cannot be more grateful for the support of everyone involved – especially the attendees!
With that, I am asking you to consider supporting DATB in some special way: spread the word, volunteer, donate raffle items or desserts, consider sponsorship packages, etc. It takes all of us for the Roman Empire to thrive!
It is also bittersweet for me to announce that this will be my final year as the Chairman of this great event. It has been an honor to lead DATB over the past decade and watch this grow from a Sunday Happy Hour with 300 people to the Alumni Association’s Premier event and a full weekend of activities. While I am stepping down from the Chairman title, I will not be going far and I have complete confidence in the DATB Co-Chairs: Brian Conroy ‘91, Jim Dahl ‘93, and Anthony Popolo ‘10 along with the many volunteers and coordinators that make this weekend the enormous success that it is.
On behalf of the Alumni Association and students of Catholic High, thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you at our Party with a Purpose!
